In 1918, Leible came to the United States, and lived in North Carolina with his aunt and uncle.
In 1918, Rose came to US, and lived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with her aunt and uncle.
Leible and Rose were married on August 27, 1923 in Pittsburgh.
Leible opened a ladies clothing store in High Point, North Carolina, that remained open until 1935, when the Ku Klux Klan gave him 48 hours to leave.
He and his wife relocated to Washington D.C., where he opened another clothing store on H Street. |

They had three children, Jacqueline, born June 2, 1928, Mary Ann (Mae), born July 11, 1929 and Jack, born February 6, 1932. |

Jacqueline married Harold Goodman. They had three children, Ramona, Ben and Judi. Jackie died of cancer on February 26, 1981.
Mae married Gerry Smith. They have three children, Alison, Jill and Glen.
Jack married Bertha Spiro. They have three children, Joseph, Tzippy and Ruth. |
Leible died of a heart attack on October 22, 1968 in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Rose died on November 30, 1982 in Silver Spring, Maryland. |
